A very warm welcome is extended to all new drivers, racing at the raceway for the first time this year, and for those returning, it’s good to see you back again. May you all have a successful 2008 season.

To all the drivers that finished in the top 10 of last year, watch out for these drivers fighting it out later in the year to see who
tops the tables this year.
2008 Track Improvements
More improvements have been made to the track with regards to the safety for both drivers and marshals, with the addition of the large tyres acting as a barrier between the two, the drainage has also had plenty of work, it has been modified to help us keep a smoother and dryer racing surface. Also we have some new new staff who have joined us to help with your queries or needs.
Track Select
Something we are planning to have later in the year is "at track select" "team n/s racing" where all n/s cars get split in to 2 teams on the day as practice for future Head to Heads.
Teams will have a captain and a chance to come up with tactics like the two main key factors,selecting who rods round to go for the points and who are blocking to stop the other team scoring.It may also be a possible to have N/S team racing 5 per team.

Beat the Stig
This year we have 3 STIG’s, the stig is the person in the race to beat, any person beating the stig gains a point, at the end of the season the driver with the highest score of beating the stig become
the next years stig, giving them a few privileges at the raceway, to include support from the track, entry fee and race equipment, the stigs are in 2 of our formula’s
The first is the mini juniors it is car 44 Leanne Sedgwick, the Stig in the Super mini’s is car 609 Harriet Lloyd and our newest Stig is in the 1400’s he’s new to the formula he’s last years Junior Champion it’s car 821 Jamie Rodgers.
Star Group Membership
Rusper Raceway have joined the STAR group bringing a larger amount of drives and members to the track, this should give us more competitive races.
